Restore Mountain Cottage is authentic Overberg farm accommodation with an old-world ambience. There is an open fire hearth in the kitchen and a wood stove in the 'voorkamer', the comfortable living and dining area. Outside there is also a 'braai', and ample fire-wood is supplied. As there is no electricity, oil lamps and candles provide light.
Fresh mountain water from the pristine Meulstroom that runs through the kloof close by, supplies the cottage. Water for the shower and kitchen is heated by a gas geyser.
The cottage provides fully equipped, self catering accommodation for up to 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with a double bed each and a 3rd bedroom with two single beds. Percale linen and towels are provided, as well as hand made quilts and hot water bottles for those cold winter nights.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering, complete with iron pots and enamelware for the wood stove. Dish cloths, tea towels and washing up liquid is supplied.
